Nottingham Forest are interested in signing former West Ham United winger Felipe Anderson.

That is according to a report in La Lazio Siamo Noi, which has noted what Anderson now plans to do.

So, what has been reported about Nottingham Forest and former West Ham United winger Felipe Anderson? Let’s take a look.

What’s the story?

Well, according to a report in La Lazio Siamo Noi, Nottingham Forest are among the clubs who are interested in signing Felipe Anderson.

Fiorentina and Santos are also keen on the former West Ham United player, who can operate as an attacking midfielder as well.

However, Anderson has made his decision. The 30-year-old Brazilian will sign a new contract with Lazio and has “rejected” Fiorentina, Santos and Forest, who are unlikely to get relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season.

Anderson is out of contract at Lazio at the end of the season. The winger will put pen to paper on a new deal that will see him earn €3.5 million (£3.04 million) per season until 2028. The decisive meeting for the deal will be held next week.

Felipe Anderson decision not a big deal for Nottingham Forest

In my opinion, Nottingham Forest should not even try to sign Felipe Anderson. I do not think that the winger would be a great signing for the Reds, who will take on Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday
